* using js in evil ways
* making webapps
* not caring about who made your software
* being against change, even if it's good because "it already works"

@star apps are simply not meant to be websites. you need to bundle in a whole embedded browser engine/framework to be able to use them, which results in high resource usage. if you want a website so much you can add a link to your website in the app.

@thing Well, as far as I know, the web is the most accessible (in theory) platform to develop for. Developing native apps is really cool, too. But from what I have heard, a11y support is often just not there in native GUI libraries. Plus, from a developer perspective, being able to write code once and have all desktops and mobile operating systems covered is just really nice!
