urhghghhghfgh iceshrimp.net does not yet provide a way to migrate existing data from one s3 provider to another, meaning i will have to edit the database and replace all the old attachment URLs with the new attachment URLs

@star I wonder if that will federate

I am assuming that the file URLs get federated, not the files

some software caches content, but for example this instance and my Sharkey instance have cache disabled, because it inflates the "files" folder size by gigabytes

@star well not every software has a refetch button, I know that iceshrimp does, but Sharkey, Pleroma, Akkoma, Mastodon, Iceshrimp(.js) don't have a refetch button

I assume you can try triggering an edit by editing it without changes and sending it, I don't know if all software will update information right
