@N33R like. what's the point of "your association has been noted". unless you had complete oversight and knowledge of the things that are allegedly happening, being friends/close with someone who turns out to be a criminal or predator is nothing bad if, once you find out, you split ties with them/do whatever is reasonable to do in the situation

which leads me to believe that these people are really just trying to scare you, and that nothing is really going on. either that, or these people are just ridiculously dumb. either way, what an insanely terrible, dumb, unconstructive way to interact with someone, plus, if they are to be believed, a nice invasion of privacy and violation of the photo policy :/
