I have absolutely no idea what I am doing but I do prefer my CSS changes to the Iceshrimp.NET UI (second pic) over the original (first pic) neobot_w

@star I mean, that's how I feel about my custom CSS for Masto-FE neobot_happy_blep​

alt text feedback @star btw as I've been told it's better to not repeat the whole description if it's the same thing just with some differences :)
just say it's the same content with X, Y and Z different ^^

alt text feedback @fugi but, if someone downloads only one picture, and reuploads it (or only shares one), then they won't know what the "other" one is! :(

alt text feedback @star but that's not worth sacrificing the direct usefulness of your posts alt text for

also, why would one download and reupload one of them? and if they did, doing the alt text correctly in the context of them posting it is on them anyway. And almost no software handles/keeps alt text either (there isn't even a common way to store it)

alt text feedback @star Having a complete, standalone description would be a good fit for an "image description" field, if there were one.

Alt text should be useful in the context of where and by whom an image is used and what it should convey in this case
