personal opinion, AI and the resulting crossfire, thinking out loud
I feel sort of pushed around by this style of debate where the burden of AI usage in a random project is pushed onto the users, and people get criticized (directly or indirectly) for using FOSS software which now uses AI in its development.I don't really have the spoons to analyze the entire suite of software I use for AI usage, find alternatives, let alone migrate there! And on that note: Migrate where? To the fork managed by one person alone, with no governance or anything? It's becoming exhausting to me, personally. I have my little toolbox of things that work for me, and the AI usage saddens me as much as it makes me angry, too!
And I am not saying that we should just accept it (ai usage) silently, ignore it or anything; actually, I am not saying much, other than "this is how I personally feel"
