re: HRT tangent
@izzy Good to know! Are you taking it at roughly the same time, esp. before/after eating? That could have an effect, and as the efficacy of orally administered progesterone is already poor due to its strong first-pass effect and poor absorption, even smaller changes could affect how it is processed by your body. Granted, I am not a doctor, biologist or anything in that direction; as for the information on how progesterone is absorbed when taking orally, I took that from this pharmindex (which I originally read in german because,, that's what I grew up speaking mostly), and also from the anecdotal experiences I know from lots of peers.I can encourage you with experimenting; be it through logging what you eat/drink in a day and when exactly you take the prog and then perhaps detecting patterns over some time, trying out a higher dosage or by trying a different route of administration for some time and seeing what that does.
In the end, it is you, your body and well-being, and–as you might know– there is extremely little actual research on this topic, so collecting your own data (and maybe then even sharing it if you'd like) would be an extremely valid thing to do! Just as valid as wanting to explore all angles of how you currently doing it, before trying something else
