Well. Hindsight is 20/20. I also used GitHub until the AI was shoved down our collective throats, and with good reason: visibility and the consistent access to high quality, free resources like CI is alluring. the fact that almost every developer has an account on GitHub and thus has everything needed to file an issue or PR is also a considerable factor for being there. You do lose some of these things when you move off the platform.
