Thanks to it I have survived not one but TWO >2h train rides where i sat in close proximity to at least 3 regularly coughing individuals in a span of 2-3 weeks without getting infected myself (this was in within the past 2 months). That would not have been possible without the mask—I would have been sick at least once, guaranteed.
