dont u protect urself against that by using an additional ssl cert like with letsencrypt? i have no idea about netweorkiong

@star no. cloudflare decrypts and reencrypts the traffic when it forwards it.

@star because your users are not talking directly to you, they are talking to cloudflare

@star @ariadne because it isnt. cloudflare points your dns to their servers, they terminate TLS with their own cert and then act as reverse proxy to your origin by forwarding the request themselves
they even let you turn off the final fetch being encrypted while still presenting TLS to the users
