@electrichanna that would be nice. but writing a modern matrix home server or client is not exactly a trivial feat given the size and complexity of the spec. I currently cannot pinpoint what the problem is exactly, but it's likely a lot of edge cases/sub-optimal preconditions coming together which then cause a lot of friction.
