@mekkaokereke If that request came from a place of honesty then I'd personally do my very best to try and figure out a way to reduce potential problems any harm, instead of telling the people who are trying to voice their concerns to "block me or use another client". Putting politics behind a content warning is nothing new and incredibly common etiquette here on Fedi. As a transgender nonbinary person I absolutely understand wanting to shine light on systemic issues. But there's no sense in doing so if your way of exercising it brings people closer to a personal crisis.
