I can recommend this to all Iceshrimp users neocat Cleans up your timeline nicely
Screenshot of the Mona for Mastodon app showing the Mute Items settings page. At the top is a purple circular profile icon, back button labeled Messages, the heading Mute Items, and two orange icons for editing and adding. Below is a white rounded rectangle containing the text Activate Mute Items with a green toggle switch in the on position. Gray explanatory text below states that if turned off, mute items you added don’t have any effect and you can use this toggle to check if you accidentally muted some posts or people. At the bottom is a list entry: a white rounded rectangle showing RE: with a locked padlock emoji and up-down arrows on the right.

@star in the native frontend you can enable "Account > Filter replies to inaccessible notes" which does the same (as long as your app supports mastodon api filters)

@star additionally, there's a PR on the pipeline to hide replies to people you don't follow by default, which should also clean up the timeline quite a bit
