@lynn @awoo this is true, I guess. Though, still, I'll have to point out the radically different threat models covered by each application, and how Signal barely has any information about you at any given point, while Matrix has a critical vulnerability every semester, has the potential for you to be impersonated by home server admins if you are not careful (even in encrypted rooms), etc.
