@awoo @lynn and it's not just that (image attached); I mean, speaking of actual centralization, how many people are on matrix.org? how many people go unavailable when that HS goes down? etc.
Screenshot of a messaging app. The user taking the screenshot sent two messages on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:16pm: "hääää dich kenn ich doch" and "awruff". They received three messages from the other person 4 minutes later, all of which are shown as "Waiting for this message". The screenshot taker then sent two more messages: "schau mal signal" and "[img: neocat_cry]"
