it depends on the context tbh. but generally , just "hey I'm having a bit of a rough time today, could [some of] you tell me some things you like about me?" can work okay

it's definitely a lot better than the people who just say awful things about themselves as a(n often unintentional) way to fish for compliments or reassurance

@star I think it's fine to just ask, be it here or asking someone in particular directly. You could ask "hey have you noticed [thing about me]? what do you think?" – or tbh, I'd personally also be fine with being asked such things completely bluntly 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just asking for it, or demanding works well as well
