This cat is so full of gender that it can't decide between them. Fell into the gender fluid and has been swimming in it since.

I will post about Mobile Linux (mostly PostmarketOS) and other Linux desktop shenanigans. Also expect commentary on programming languages and technology in general.

@kmohrf Yes it's just DisplayPort alt mode. It doesn't work with every dock currently since the USB Port does not provide power to attached devices yet but if you have a powered dock it should work

Guess what? If your phone runs mainline , you can just play Java Edition on it. This is a Oneplus 8T running and Minecraft runs at a stable 25 FPS with 16 chunks render distance.

Some folks in the sm8250-mainline matrix channel and I have been working on getting this phone mainlined and so far we have a lot working. These changes are not merged into PostmarketOS yet but that is something I intend to do soon.

This video was also shot on PostmarketOS so this is a end-to-end Linux video production.

Idea for a Linux app somebody can steal if they want:

Instant translations - app registers a global shortcut through the xdg-portal (can also be triggered through commandline to support standalone WMs). When that shortcut is pressed a Window pops up translating the text in the primary buffer to the users native language.

That way the user can just select text in any app he wants, press the shortcut and get it translated.

mh~; studies Ugh. I signed up for too many exams this semester and now I'm not motivated to learn for any.
